RYO Women is an online magazine sponsored by RYO Center and promoted by the women of RYO.

Our entire aim, as much as is practicable, is to celebrate joy wherever it thrives and to restore it wherever it is found broken.

RYO Women is named in honor of a magnificent woman. It is produced in honor of all women.

RYO (a childhood nickname) bore herself through triumphs and trajedies with such dignity and aplomb, as if she were set apart from us all, and yet remained consistent in a conviction that all women - as much as is given them to be - bear themselves through the vicissitudes of this life with dignity and aplomb. Many lead without fanfair. Many serve without reward. Our world, she said, will be much the smarter, much the better for us all, much more the glory to our God, if our institutions and our systems, if acquiescence and inconvenient souls desist from restraining us - the mothers of this earth. We are not weak. We are quite strong! It is not difficult to prove this: let those that scoff walk in our skins, in our shoes - just only for a small while ... and see who picks them up.
